Product Liability Cover

Products Liability Covers you up to £1,000,000 cover with £500 Excess each and every loss.

Not Included:

• No Cover is Given for any disputes over weights or measures.
• No cover for meat and meat related products.

Restrictions:

• Eggs may be sold to the end user by the insured only and not via third party. In the event that the insured sells eggs at any location other than the productions site, the sales for the day should not exceed more that three days production, or 120 eggs whichever is smaller.
• In the event of the sales of any manufactured/manipulated food item (preserves, jams, honey, juices, dairy) that the insured must hold the appropriate elementary food hygiene certificate and abide by any particular regulation to the sale of such items.
• No cover is given for any dispute over weights or measures.
• No cover for meat and meat related products.
• All products liability cover will exclude Meat and Meat related products.

Public Liability Insurance for Pet Businesses

Public Liability covers your legal liability for injury to persons other than employees, and for damage to property, up to a limit of £1,000,000 or £2,000,000 plus legal costs, depending on your cover

The cover includes:

• Compensation for court attendance as a witness, up to £250 per day
• Your legal liability arising out of the use of another person's vehicle for your business purposes if it is not otherwise insured
• Legal costs incurred in the defence of criminal proceedings for breach of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, up to £10,000 in any one period of insurance
• Liability for damage to premises leased, hired, rented or in your custody or control (excluding the first £250)

Not Insured:

• Liability for loss of or injury to animals in your care, custody or control
• Liability arising out of any products sold or supplied
• Breach of professional duty
• Liability arising out of asbestos or its derivatives
• Terrorism
• The first £100 of each claim for damage to property
